In the past we have worked on many projects with both Future Biogas and Holkham Estates and this particular project required a skill set from every department within Plandescil.
We undertook the following stages of design to provide a multidisciplinary service:
- Topographical Survey
- An Inception/Concept Design
- Assisting through then Planning, Tender & Construction phases
- As-Built Management Plans
Plandescil managed a technically difficult Section 278 highways management and design process with Norfolk County Council. This included a re-design of an internal one-way system to the existing farming and grain store operation from which the site was accessed. The B1105 was regraded and realigned and new access and egress designed and the vertical alignment was regraded to improve visibility whilst keep minimum distances above the services in the existing road. The development and S278 works were completed on time, as well as avoiding school holiday dates and meeting planning/project deadlines, to ensure minimum disruption to the general public.
