Plandescil Ltd are currently seeking Graduate Civil Engineers to join our expanding team in our Attleborough office. Graduates can be expected to work as part of a team with everybody working for and with everybody else, with responsibilities focused around project requirements. Our graduate engineers normally work on several different projects in varying teams at any time, all requiring various and bespoke civil engineering solutions.

Your responsibilities would normally include:

  • Problem solving on a day to day basis
  • Preparing civil engineering designs and specifications for your projects
  • Undertaking 2D/3D modelling and drafting work to support your designs
  • Attend site visits, site meetings and design meetings as your project require
  • Maintain all necessary project data and information
  • Liaise and coordinate with other engineers, architects, surveyors and contractors 
  • Checking drawings and designs of peers
  • Actively seek new and innovative design methods and solutions
  • Planning and implementation of site investigations


  • A relevant degree; minimum BEng or equivalent in Civil/Infrastructure Engineering at a high grade
  • A high level of technical competence
  • Computer literate, some knowledge of design and analysis programs would be an advantage (the company runs Micro Drainage, PDS, and Autodesk Civil 3D software)
  • Strong analytical, maths and technical skills
  • Flexible approach to work and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work effectively to deadlines and under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills and timekeeping
  • Good written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
