Refurbishment of Fuel Filling Station

Plandescil were engaged to help with the redevelopment of this former Fuel Filling Station. Relocating from a smaller, rented site, the Clients brief was to provide a new reception area, enlarged workshop, MOT test bay and stores together with external sales and parking area following removal of the canopy and pumps. 

The site had been out of use for several years and was becoming something of an eyesore on a prominent approach to Bury St Edmund's. Its re-use transformation has been welcomed. 

We undertook topographical and measured building surveys, detailed Planning Permission and Building Regulations Approval and designed the steel frame, foundations, external pavings and drainage design.
