We are currently seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our Environmental Department. The ideal candidate would have a relevant degree, IEMA or equivalent qualification and experience in the contaminated land sector.

You will work as part of a small team preparing Contaminated Land Reports, providing advice to clients on environmental issues and preparing various environmental applications. All of the work must be carried out in accordance with the current guidelines.

A good understanding of contaminated land issues is required. The guidelines for reporting on these matters are constantly changing and there will be a requirement to keep abreast of the latest requirements and models in use. A professional approach to advice given and report writing is expected.

You will be required to liaise verbally including site/office meetings, and telephone conversations in addition to written form with the Client, Local Authority, the Environment Agency, County Council, NHBC and the local Water Authority.
